Okay, two times in three days! This is more like it. The wind was good, I was on my 6.5 but had some uncontrolled wipeouts, including a yardsale that tossed a bootie fifty feet from the end point of my launch.

The launch was the first big one since I've been back in sailing. I got trapped under the sail, too, which I dread. I didn't panic and got unhooked and out from under the sail pretty easily, though. I tell you, that split second from beginning of launch to splashdown is a long time! I could get a day's work done in that amount of time.

I soon came back in to see if I should put up my 5.6. But Bill talked me out of it. He helped me tune the sail for the wind and I went back out. It was much better, but the wind dropped a bit, too, so I'm not sure just how much of an effect it had. Probably some, at least.

When I first arrived I took out my new Seatrend AllStar 70. It worked, but it was plenty windy enough for my Screamer, so I swapped them. I still haven't had a decent chance to try out the Seatrend, but I like saling smaller boards better anyway.
